Podiatrist

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Podiatrist to join the new Rolla Multispecialty CBOC, part of Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital. This on-site position offers a varied outpatient practice encompassing the diagnosis and management of podiatric medical and surgical conditions, office procedures, consult management, biomechanical care, and high-risk foot care. Providers have a strong opportunity to improve the mobility, independence, and quality of life for Veterans.

• Position is on-site at the Rolla Multispecialty CBOC
• Part of Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital
• Outpatient scope includes podiatric medical and surgical disorders and office-based procedures
• Practice includes consult review/triage, biomechanical evaluation, off-loading strategies, ulcer care, and management of high-risk foot conditions

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage podiatric medical and surgical conditions
• Perform office-based procedures
• Triage and manage consults
• Provide care for ulceration, corns, calluses, nail disorders, and biomechanical foot problems
• Develop or utilize devices to redistribute weight-bearing and improve function
• Participate in committees, peer review, and other administrative responsibilities as assigned

Compensation

• Salary $250,000 - $300,000

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility is acceptable
• Telework is not available
