Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Podiatry for a 16-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. The role involves 8:00 am – 4:30 pm shifts, focusing on routine diabetic foot exams, debridement, infection treatment, and managing peripheral neuropathy and gait abnormalities. Providers in this locum tenens assignment will help meet patient care needs while utilizing CPRS EMR.

Responsibilities
- Provide routine diabetic foot exams.
- Perform debridement of nails, calluses, ulcerations, and other skin lesions.
- Treat infections or ulcerations of the feet and lower legs with antibiotics.
- Diagnose and treat peripheral neuropathy and diabetic-related gait abnormalities.
- Prescribe orthosis, including functional and accommodative options.
- Prescribe one pair of diabetic shoes per year and two pairs of diabetic inserts per year.
