We are seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join our team in Chicago, IL, providing routine and referral podiatric care to Skilled Nursing residents.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
- Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders of the feet and ankles.
- Perform wound care management.
- Diagnose foot and ankle conditions using medical histories, physical exams, x-rays, and lab tests.
- Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as needed.
- Advise patients on treatment plans and preventive foot and ankle care.
- Provide education and consultations to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Promote health, prevention, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate medical records for assigned patients.
Compensation and Schedule
Compensation is based on a percentage of revenue, with earnings increasing with caseload and workload. The role offers full-time or part-time opportunities with a flexible schedule, and compensation ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 annually.
Work Setting
Work involves both on-site and mobile visits, providing comprehensive podiatric care in a dynamic setting.
