Role Description Podiatrist role based in Florida. The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to senior patients, including conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include performing procedures, coordinating care for patients with diabetes and other chronic conditions, and documenting encounters in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary providers, educating patients and caregivers on preventive foot care, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in podiatry to diagnose, treat, and manage foot and ankle conditions in senior populations.


• Experience managing foot care in patients with diabetes, including preventive care and risk reduction.


• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and active, unrestricted Florida podiatry license (or eligibility to obtain).


• Prior experience working with older adults or in a geriatric, long-term care, or senior-focused clinical setting preferred.


• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.


• Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical care, and continual professional development.
