Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Inpatient Psychiatry Job Type: Full-Time | W-2 or 1099 Schedule: 7-On/7-Off Rotation

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) to join our inpatient behavioral health team in Edinburg, TX.
PMHNPs and PA-Cs will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for inpatient behavioral health patients.
See psychiatric patients daily and monitor their progress throughout their stay. Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans. Manage medications and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary treatment team. Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in the medical record.
1–2+ years of experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, inpatient medicine, or a related setting.
Active Texas (TX) license and DEA registration, as applicable to the role.
Emergency Department (ED) and/or Consult-Liaison (CL) experience.
Board-certified PMHNP with active certification or a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with the appropriate credentials and experience in psychiatric care.
