Production OperatorShift: PM with Rotating Days OffGeneral Purpose: Make sure tables in production area are in good condition before curd is pumped into them. Ensure cheese meets specifications as wells as PH is at specific level before draining whey and adding water.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor curd pH's and ingredientsAdd salt to tablesComplete production logs accuratelyPerform CIP on tables as neededRelieve cooker/molder operator as neededAssist cooker/molder operator to change RMC moldsSubmit samples for lab testingAssist CIP crews in tear downs of the curd tablesClean the Curd AugersKeep work area clean and up to 5S standardMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesDedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arriveFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsExhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgmentAdhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformityAttend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)Responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary for a critical control point as part of the plant HACCP planEnsure that all documentation is done correctly and turned in promptlyThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
