Plumbing Project Manager (Multi-Family)Southern Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager (Multi-Family) to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing all phases of multifamily plumbing construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, execution, and closeout. Projects typically range from $500,000 to $10 million in value.What We Offer:Competitive annual salary: $95,000–$115,000+, based on experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Basic Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffProfessional Development and Career Growth OpportunitiesWhat You'll Do:Manage all aspects of multifamily plumbing construction projects from planning through completionEstablish project objectives, milestones, procedures, and performance standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and cost controlsNegotiate contracts with general contractors and subcontracted laborMonitor project financial performance, including forecasting, job costing, billing, and work-in-progress (WIP) reportingReview and interpret job cost analysis reports to ensure project profitabilityCoordinate with project teams to maintain current drawings, specifications, and change ordersManage labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetConduct occasional site visits to monitor progress and resolve issuesInterface with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and local government officials as neededBuild and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional workProvide regular project status updates and weekly job cost reportsWhat You'll Bring:5–10 years of project management experience in multifamily or commercial plumbing constructionExtensive knowledge of plumbing and piping systemsStrong understanding of job costing, budgeting, scheduling, and financial forecastingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and job cost reportsExperience negotiating contracts and managing subcontractorsKnowledge of construction processes, change orders (CORs), code requirements, and cost control practicesExcellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time-management skillsSelf-motivated, resourceful, and results-drivenTechnology & Software ExperienceWorking with our Company:Founded in 1992, Southern Mechanical is an operated company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
