Plumbing Project Manager Multi-FamilySouthern Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager Multi-Family to join our team.This role is responsible for planning, managing, and successfully delivering commercial and multi-family plumbing projects ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong financial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, safety, schedules, and budgets.What We Offer:Annual Salary: $120,000–$150,000+, depending on experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Basic Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffProfessional Development and Career Growth OpportunitiesWhat You'll Do:Manage all phases of commercial and multi-family plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and production goalsReview and interpret project drawings, specifications, contracts, and plumbing system requirementsPrepare and analyze job cost reports, financial forecasts, work-in-progress (WIP) reports, and manpower projectionsNegotiate contracts with general contractors and subcontractorsCoordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure project successReview and process change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and project documentationCollaborate with field leadership to ensure drawings, schedules, and project documentation remain currentConduct periodic jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and client satisfactionEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholdersCommunicate effectively with internal teams, customers, engineers, inspectors, and municipal agenciesWhat You'll Bring:Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial or multi-family plumbing constructionExtensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction practicesStrong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, job costing, and cost controlAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractsExperience managing projects valued between $500,000 and $10 millionProficiency with construction management software, including Procore, Sage, Spectrum, Raken, Microsoft Office, and ExcelStrong negotiation, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyWork Environment:Combination of office and jobsite workMay require travel to project locations as neededFast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlinesWorking with our Company:Founded in 1992, Southern Mechanical is an operated company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
