About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable Plumbing Mechanic to handle commercial and residential projects throughout Queens and the surrounding NYC area. You will perform both service work and new installations-ranging from rough-ins and finish piping to fixture setups-working independently and adhering strictly to NYC plumbing codes.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute rough-in, finish work, and service repairs for water, gas, sanitary, and storm piping systems.
Install plumbing fixtures and equipment across residential and commercial job sites.
Read plans/blueprints and ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes.
Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues independently without direct supervision.
Experience: 5+ years of NYC commercial and residential plumbing experience (service + install).
Technical Knowledge: Strong blueprint reading and NYC DOB code understanding.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Certifications: OSHA 30 and F-60/G-60 preferred (or willingness to obtain); Journeyman or Master Plumber license is a plus.
Competitive Hourly Pay ($30.00 - $45.00/hr, negotiable based on experience)
