PlumberThe Oregon Military Department is recruiting for a Plumber. This is a permanent full-time state position located at Camp Rilea in Warrenton, Oregon. This position is represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees' (AFSCME) union.Perform skilled, journey-level work installing, maintaining servicing and repairing the water and sewer distribution systems and associated plumbing fixtures at Camp Rilea.Subject to loud noise and unsanitary work conditions several times monthly. Required to push, pull and lift up to 90 lbs. Required to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and blowing sand.
Works in inclement weather. Works from ladders, scaffolding, manlifts and on roofs several times monthly. Works within confined spaces several times monthly. Infrequent exposure to chlorine, sewer, natural gas. Follows all safety standards, policies and procedures.A valid Oregon Plumber's License.
