We are currently seeking experienced Journeyman-Level Commercial Plumbers to support a commercial mechanical contractor specializing in commercial HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate will have solid commercial plumbing experience, be able to work independently, and understand the pace and expectations of a commercial mechanical job site.
Pay rate is $40–$50 per hour BOE (Based on Experience). Work is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours per week. This is an immediate 3–4 week assignment with the potential for additional projects and continued work for plumbers who perform at a high level.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Install and connect piping, fixtures, valves, and related plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and plumbing layouts.
- Work alongside HVAC and mechanical trades on commercial projects.
- Assist with installation and connection of plumbing systems associated with commercial mechanical/HVAC equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and identify plumbing issues in the field.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all applicable plumbing codes, project specifications, and job-site safety requirements.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level commercial plumbing experience required.
- Proven experience working on commercial construction or mechanical projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a mechanical construction crew.
