Plumber

This role is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing services across the entire facility. You ensure all park features and related systems remain in safe, sanitary, and reliable condition. You may also assist with basic HVAC maintenance to support overall facility operations.

Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the facility in accordance with all applicable codes and standards of safe workmanship.
  • Maintain all wet and dry pipe automatic fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and proper operation.
  • Service and maintain plumbing systems, including potable water distribution systems and plant, bathroom and shower facilities, sanitary sewers, and gas systems.
  • Perform daily inspections of properties and assets to identify issues, safety concerns, and maintenance needs.
  • Assist with HVAC maintenance tasks as needed to support facility operations.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment across all park facilities related to plumbing and water systems.
  • Use appropriate tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently while performing plumbing and related maintenance work.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to service requests and radio calls, documenting work performed and maintaining accurate written records.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and operations team members to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, including working safely in varying weather conditions and at heights up to 200 feet.
Essential Skills
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of plumbing, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Hands-on experience with potable water distribution systems, bathroom and shower plumbing, sanitary sewers, gas systems, and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Ability to perform field service work, including troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues efficiently.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to assist with HVAC maintenance tasks and basic mechanical service work.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing and related system problems.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to work in all-weather conditions, including sun, heat, cold, and rain.
  • Comfort working at heights up to 200 feet, following all safety protocols.
  • Ability to maintain written records and documentation of work performed.
  • Ability to respond to radio calls and communicate clearly with team members.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and a positive, cooperative attitude.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, and to be available for overtime as needed.
  • Ownership of appropriate hand tools for plumbing work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Water quality knowledge is a plus.
  • Plumbing certification or Journeyman license is preferred.
  • Experience working in a large facility or park environment is beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a field service capacity, moving between different areas of the property as needed.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
