Pay & Project Details
- Up to $41/hour DOE
- $120/day per diem for qualified travelers
- 6+ months of scheduled project work
- Immediate openings available
- Commercial data center construction
- Install, assemble, and support copper ProPress and PVC piping systems
- Perform ProPress connections on copper piping
- Install water, gas, and drainage piping systems as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble piping accurately
- Complete pipe layout and fit up according to project requirements
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance
- Coordinate with crew members and supervision to maintain project schedules
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow all site specific safety requirements and procedures
- Prior plumbing or construction experience preferred, not required
- Willingness to learn pipe layout, measuring, fitting, and installation under direction of a Journeyman
- Ability to safely use standard plumbing tools
- Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled overtime
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction on a fast paced jobsite
Qualified travelers must:
- Maintain a permanent residence more than 60 miles from the jobsite
- Work the full scheduled shift each day
