Job Responsibilities May Include
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on commercial, industrial, or residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems
- Install fixtures, valves, water lines, drainage systems, and related plumbing components
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper function
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and make repairs as needed
- Work safely around other trades, equipment, and active construction areas
- Communicate with foremen, supervisors, and crew members to complete work correctly and on schedule
- Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
- Participate in required safety meetings, trainings, and job site procedures
- Apprentice or Journeyman plumbing experience preferred
- Commercial, industrial, or residential plumbing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and follow job specifications
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, job site safety, and proper installation practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have basic hand tools for the trade
- Strong communication skills and dependable work habits
- Must meet attendance expectations and follow job site procedures
- Must be able to pass drug screen, I-9, and E-Verify requirements
