Position Summary: Baucom Plumbing a trusted, family-owned company serving Union County since 1981, is seeking skilled plumbers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on plumbing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of Commercial Plumbing Systems. Residential plumbing experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drain systems, gas piping, and plumbing fixtures
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications
Work with various materials (copper, PVC, cast iron, PEX, etc.)
Ensure all work meets local and state plumbing codes
Operate and maintain basic plumbing tools and equipment safely
Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain clean and organized work areas on job sites
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of Commercial Plumbing experience (apprenticeship or journeyman level)
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation techniques
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environments (bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
