Plumber IThe Department of Facilities and Construction Management at Jackson State University is accepting applications for its Plumber I position.Examples Of DutiesOperate hand tools and power tools associated with the plumbing trade.Repair/replace general plumbing equipment, water heaters, pumps, etc.Repair work on clogged sewer lines and sanitary plumbing equipment.Leads troubleshooting efforts and repair water and gas distribution systems.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Director.Typical QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Must possess a valid Mississippi Driver's License.5 to 7 years' experience in preventive maintenance.General working knowledge of maintenance type plumbing and general maintenance repairs.Must be capable of reading, comprehending and interpreting mechanical construction installation plans and specifications.
