Unite Contracting is seeking Commercial Plumbers for in the New Orleans area. Must have plumber license.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Plumber:
A plumber will read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
A plumber must be able to cut and assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing plumbing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
A plumber will install and maintain plumbing water supply systems
A plumber needs to locate and repair issues with the water supply lines (e.g., leaks).
A plumber must be able to repair or replace broken plumbing, including drainage lines, clogged drains, and faucets.
A plumber must repair plumbing fixtures and sinks.
A plumber must install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems.
A plumber must install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems.
Requirements for Commercial Plumber:
Commercial Plumber experience required
Experience with PVC, CPVC, Cast Iron, and Copper
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively about plumbing.
Ability to perform basic math functions. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Able to work easily and skillfully with all tools and materials needed in plumbing.
Have your own tools and transportation
Organized with good time management skills in plumbing
Must be dependable and willing to complete the project from start to finish
As a Plumber, you will be essential in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Reporting to the Lead Technician, you will use your core plumbing, hand, and power tool skills to execute tasks efficiently. Your premium skills in construction and plumbing will enhance your capabilities across a range of projects. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and basic math will support your problem-solving efforts.
