Our client, a nationally recognized residential and commercial plumbing services company based in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a skilled Plumber. This full-time position offers pay based on experience and is open to both journeyman and apprentice levels. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, and other plumbing equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, clogs, and pipe damage
- Perform drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, and sewer line inspections
- Install and repair bathroom and kitchen fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and showers
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls with timely solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure compliant installations
- Install and repair traditional and tankless water heaters
- Detect and repair gas line issues following safety standards and local codes
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on new construction and renovations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on jobs
- Communicate professionally with customers, explaining issues and solutions clearly
- Keep work vehicle and inventory organized and clean
Required Qualifications
- Valid state plumbing license (where required)
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial settings
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing codes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with service and repair work beyond new construction
- Familiarity with plumbing software or CRM scheduling systems
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
