Job TitleTo repair, replace, or otherwise improve plumbing, boiler, and various related hospital systems.Responsibilities:Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot problems in a timely efficient manner.Completes work assignments thoroughly and in a timely manner.Completes annual in-service.Attends meetings and participates in departmental in-services.Participates in performance improvement and information management activities.Responsible for ordering material and maintaining inventory.Performs P.M. related work.Performs project/construction work when needed.Repairs all types of plumbing fixtures, valves, broken pipes, re-pipes system, make-up feed tanks, cooling towers, pumps, H.V.A.C. related piping and water pressures, boiler piping, threading, welding, etc.Works overtime when hospital emergency occurs.Performs all other duties as required.Position Requirements:This position requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years job-related experience.Desired (not required) criteria include: Or related trade school.Union: BCTCMon - Fri / 8:00AM - 5:00PMHourly Rate: $ Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
