Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web, mobile-web, and cross-browser testing.
- Develop end-to-end, regression, smoke, functional, integration, and compatibility test suites.
- Automate testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers.
- Implement robust locators, page object models, test data management, and reusable test utilities.
- Integrate Playwright automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Perform API testing and validate REST services using Playwright APIRequest or related tools.
- Analyze test failures, investigate defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Generate test reports, maintain automation metrics, and support continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and production-quality validation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript; knowledge of Java, Python, or C# is an advantage.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright Test or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with Page Object Model, data-driven testing, behavior-driven testing, and reusable automation components.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, request validation, authentication, and response verification.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, test reporting, defect management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, defect lifecycle, test planning, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
