As a technical contributor, the full-time remote Platform Engineer III will manage and evolve API Gateway integration platforms at enterprise scale, ensuring intelligent automated integration and driving innovation within the API ecosystem. Key responsibilities Manage and advance API integration platforms and related infrastructure components, including software upgrades and performance monitoring Guide and mentor junior engineers while setting operational excellence standards Analyze and refine API definition standards to support scalable and reliable integration solutions Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience 4-6 years of relevant technical and business experience in IT systems delivery, preferably in healthcare or high-transaction environments 3+ years of experience in technical engineering efforts involving implementation and management of IT systems Hands-on experience with API Gateway management, HTTP integration, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) Experience with AWS services and observability tools (preferably Splunk, New Relic)
