Speechify is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and own the APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, and the public TTS API. You will improve existing services, reduce failure modes, and ensure correctness across multiple clients and billing systems.
You’ll automate repetitive parts of the role and extend functionality to enable the team to scale. Collaboration with product, mobile, and web teams will keep the backend architecture ahead of product needs.
