Plater- Process Technician

Process TechnicianWe are seeking process technicians to support metal plating operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment, monitoring quality standards, and supporting daily production activities while following established safety and process procedures.Location: Grand Rapids, MIFull-Time; Direct HireShift Options:1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMCompensation: Up to $20/hour + shift premium available for 2nd shiftRequired QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, assembly, production, or industrial experience requiredAbility to work either 1st shift (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresDependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment and monitor processes to maintain efficiency and quality standardsPerform inspections and identify issues impacting product quality or production flowMaintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety proceduresComplete required process documentation and communicate concerns to supervisors as neededSupport team production goals and assist with additional duties as assignedPreferred ExperienceExposure to electroplating, metal finishing, or chemical processing environmentsExperience operating manufacturing equipment or machineryFamiliarity with handling industrial chemicals and safety proceduresBenefits & Additional InformationPTO and paid sick time begin accruing during the first week of employmentOpportunities for growth and advancementShift premium available for 2nd shift employeesStable manufacturing environment with long-term opportunityNO SUBCONTRACT REQUIREMENT: No third-party applicants will be considered.
