Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in facilities across a wide network.
- Deliver physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to develop clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with a team to implement wound care modalities and technologies.
- Maintain real-time clinical documentation at the point of care during rounds using our wound-specific EMR.
- Participate in weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Conduct patient care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Engage in a mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
- See approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities per day.
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Practice Overview
- Full-time schedule: Monday – Friday (7am–4pm); part-time options available.
- No call and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
- Modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings.
- Mobile practice with facility visits and standard rounds.
- Part-time role: minimum 3 days per week; Full-time role: 4–5 days per week.
- W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship).
- Paid training provided during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.
