Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in facilities across multiple states (over 3,200 facilities in 28 states).
- Receive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to develop clinical excellence.
- Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Operate in a mobile practice: visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
- Visit 2–3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day.
- Document at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Paid training during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.
- W2 employment contract (no visa sponsorship available).
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Practice Details
- Full-time work: Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) or part-time available.
- No call and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
- Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
