Maxon Plastics, Inc., a small, family-owned plastics injection molding company, is looking for a Plastic Injection Mold Operator to join our team in Batavia, IL.
The Plastic Injection Mold Operator operates injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.
Responsibilities:
* Separates parts from runners, or uses separating drums, packages parts, and puts boxes in inventory.
* Maintain Inventory
* Adds plastic pellets into the hopper to keep machines running.
* Mixes thermoplastic materials and coloring pigments in the mixing machine according to the formula.
* Grinds scrap plastic for reuse.
* Various other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, certification
* Manufacturing experience.
* Able to lift 55 pounds occasionally.
* Constantly operate production equipment.
* Keep up with multiple tasks so production runs smoothly.
