PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY - MICROSURGEON

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College boasts academic leadership opportunities through its plastic surgery residency program, its medical school, and opportunities for research. The Division of Plastic Surgery has an integrated residency program with two residents per year and is involved in medical student education and research. Job Description/Responsibilities for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Microsurgeon

Clinical responsibilities include:

• Breast microsurgery
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction
• General reconstruction
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on‑call

Applicants should have the following:

• NYS Licensure MD or DO
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery Residency Program
• Board Eligible/Certified in Plastic Surgery
• DEA certification
