The Plasma Table Helper/Press Helper supports the Production Supervisor in processing structural steel components and custom fabricated assemblies. This role assists with CNC plasma tables, hydraulic presses, and multiple fabrication machines while adapting to a variable workflow based on the order schedule. The position offers advancement opportunities to Plasma Table Operator or Press Brake Operator.
Responsibilities
* Load and position materials for production.
* Support operation of CNC plasma tables and hydraulic presses.
* Assist with multiple fabrication machines.
* Provide production support according to the order schedule.
* Grind and finish structural steel components and custom fabricated assemblies.
* Operate or assist with overhead cranes and forklifts.
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience in metal fabrication.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid driver's license.
* Experience with plasma cutting and metal fabrication.
* Ability to read blueprints.
* Material-handling experience.
* Mechanical aptitude.
