Description The Plant Operator tests, inspects and maintains the boilers and steam system, chillers and associated equipment, hot and cold domestic supply pressure, and a varied scope of pumps, controls, and equipment. Will maintain documentation of all testing of equipment, inventories of fuel and supplies, and manage contractors when needed. Responsible for reliably providing utilities for the hospital, including steam, chilled water, electrical and emergency electrical, cold and hot water, etc.
Qualifications The Plant Operator should have certification as an operating engineer/stationary engineer or be able to achieve certification in one year.
