We are seeking a dependable Plant Operator to operate and monitor a rock crushing plant. This position is responsible for maintaining safe and efficient plant operations, monitoring equipment, completing inspections, and assisting with maintenance and repairs as needed.

We are seeking a dependable Plant Operator to operate and monitor a rock crushing plant. This position is responsible for maintaining safe and efficient plant operations, monitoring equipment, completing inspections, and assisting with maintenance and repairs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor rock crushing plant operations.
- Monitor the feeding and distribution of aggregate throughout the plant.
- Monitor gauges, instruments, and plant machinery.
- Perform plant inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Communicate with team members throughout the work area.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of plant equipment.
- Operate other plant equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties on the property when the plant is idle or down due to mechanical issues.
- Follow all MSHA regulations and required safety procedures.
- Ability to sit and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and turning.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to remain alert to vehicles, warning signals, equipment, and surrounding operations.
- Primarily outdoor work.
- Exposure to aggregate dust, fuel fumes, welding gases, and plant mist.
- Exposure to seasonal hot and cold temperatures.
- Work around heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Potential exposure to hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
- Previous plant, aggregate, quarry, mining, heavy equipment, or similar industrial experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Strong safety awareness.
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding industrial environment.
