Plant Manager / Senior Operations ManagerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Plant Manager / Senior Operations Manager - Onsite position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Delaware, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Compensation: $122,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year, W2, based on qualificationsPosition Overview: As the Plant Manager, you are responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a resin and e-coat manufacturing facility. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across production and process engineering to support current performance and long-term growth plans. Reporting directly to the Director of Plant Management, you will guide quality assurance and process improvement projects, develop talent, and scale processes across resin and e-coat technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop multi-year operational strategies to support business growth, capacity expansion, and product developmentPartner with leadership to align manufacturing strategy with commercial, capital, and workforce planningLead site-level planning for capital investments, new product introductions, and process modernization plansOversee daily operations for manufacturing and ensure completion of production, cost, quality, and delivery goalsEstablish and manage Indicators to increase performance visibility and accountabilityLead operations in a union environment, promoting positive labor relations and adherence to collective bargaining agreementsManage teams that oversee workforce planning, shift structures, and overtime to meet operational demandsLead the production and engineering teams, providing technical direction, prioritization, and coachingPromote process optimization, yield improvement, and variability reduction across resin and e-coat operationsSupport troubleshooting of complex process, quality, and equipment issues using data-driven methodologiesChampion a safety culture with visible leadership and accountability at all levelsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, PSM, and other regulatory requirementsCollaborate with the Quality team for quality systems, audits, and corrective action programsCoach operations leaders, supervisors, engineers, and production teamsBuild succession plans and talent pipelines across operations and engineeringPromote a culture of engagement, learning, and accountabilityPrimary RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in resin, polymers, coatings, or specialty chemicals5+ years of senior leadership experience overseeing operations in a unionized manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience leading process engineering or technical teamsKnowledge of EHS regulations, PSM, and quality systemsFacilitation, problem solving, and data-led decision-making skillsExperience with resin polymerization, compounding, or electrocoating (e-coat) operationsDesired SkillsMaster's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or MBALean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certificationExperience leading site expansions, major capital projects, or plant transformationsExperience supporting growth through capacity increases, new product introductions, or technology upgradesOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
