We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Savannah, Georgia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality dental and medical devices. The role will drive a culture of operational excellence that will positively impact safety, quality and service improvements while reducing cost through various CI techniques including Lean. As a strategic location for manufacturing investment the role will drive site growth initiatives and investment strategy execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the strategic growth of the manufacturing facility, working in partnership with business partners and Henry Schein Manufacturing global organization to support business growth and supply chain excellence.
- Responsible for planning strategic investment at the site to enable growth and future manufacturing initiatives.
- Presenting business cases to drive investment.
- Site oversight for Production and Operations Management: Direct site leadership and teams on production output, product quality, and on-time shipping in a metric driven operation.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
- Design resource allocation effectively to achieve production goals.
- Build the organizational capabilities and the talent to support business requirements, both for today’s needs and forward looking forward to future projected growth.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the plant's budget, including labor, materials, and operational expenses.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports for leadership.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements.
- Lead and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- 12+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing, supply chain operations.
- Able to manage relationships across a matrix reporting structure.
- Proven leadership and management skills in a high growth and dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic business environment.
- Record of successfully introducing and implementing strategic initiatives in a manufacturing/supply chain environment preferred.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience required.
- Analytical skills for data review and process optimization.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
- Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
