The Plant Manager is the leader of the manufacturing site. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence and a winning culture to deliver the financial goals of the site.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment while complying with environmental regulations and food safety standards
- Ensure products are manufactured to quality standards and within customer specification
- Build customer relationships through regular communication and delivered quality
- Lead departments to optimize performance in all aspects of the business
- Drive a continuous improvement culture and strive to improve the manufacturing process
- Lead people development, training, employee engagement, and advancement at all levels of the plant organization through servant leadership
- Partner and share best practices with business segment peers to drive overall company performance improvements
- Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
- Drive favorable P&L results through the items the plant controls (i.e. productivity, labor cost, spending)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field or significant industry experience
- Ten years of manufacturing experience with a proven track record of successful team building
- Great communicator with effective organizational and planning skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Lean Six Sigma certification
