Plant Manager

Description

We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility.

This is a multi-functional leadership position combining Production Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Plant Operations . The Plant Manager will be responsible for keeping production organized, materials available, employees on task, and customer orders moving through the factory on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production schedules, workflow, and deadlines.
• Oversee production from cutting and sewing through filling, QC, packing, and shipping.
• Lead employees, assign daily priorities, and monitor productivity and performance.
• Manage inventory and ensure materials are available for upcoming orders.
• Oversee receiving, material organization, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate shipping, freight, deliveries, and customer pickups.
• Identify and resolve production delays, material shortages, and quality issues.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, safe, and productive facility.
• Help implement and maintain SOPs and quality-control procedures.
• Communicate production progress, staffing needs, inventory concerns, and operational issues with ownership and administration.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or plant operations experience.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Experience with production scheduling, inventory, and/or logistics.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities.
• Hands-on leadership style and ability to hold employees accountable.
• Furniture, textile, sewing, upholstery, or similar manufacturing experience is a plus.

We need someone who is proactive, organized, dependable, and takes ownership . This person should be comfortable working directly on the production floor, leading a team, solving problems, and keeping multiple areas of the operation moving together.
