Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend leadership coverage
Compensation: $160,000–$200,000 annually + performance-based bonus

Aegis Worldwide is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturing company in Indianapolis, IN, seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee facility operations, drive continuous improvement, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a manufacturing facility with 200+ employees.
- Manage plant financial performance, including full P&L responsibility, budgeting, and cost control.
- Lead operations, quality, engineering, maintenance, materials, safety, and HR departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Improve production efficiency, throughput, on-time delivery, and overall plant profitability.
- Develop and mentor department managers while improving employee engagement and retention.
- Identify operational challenges, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee performance.
- Lead strategic planning, workforce development, and operational improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably at the Plant Manager or Operations Manager level.
- Automotive manufacturing experience required.
- Experience manufacturing metal components, assemblies, fabrication, stamping, welding, or similar products required.
- Experience overseeing manufacturing operations with 100+ employees.
- Demonstrated experience with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven success improving plant efficiency, profitability, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; extensive automotive plant management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
