Plant Manager

Well-established and busy organization in the manufacturing of wood fiber products for concrete construction industry seeking a Plant Manager to help lead our team at our facility in Boonville, MO. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, will be a strong leader with experience overseeing up to 50 production, maintenance and supervisor employees in a manufacturing environment, and will be interested in a long‑term career opportunity that offers plenty of work and stability, incentives and growth opportunities.

Duties

• Communicate and provide direction to the staff of all departments.
• Interviews, selects, and hires new employees.
• Directs employee training to improve efficiency and ensure conformance with standard procedures and practices.
• Conducts staff meetings of operations personnel, or confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operational problems or explain procedural changes or practices.
• Put together capital budget/expenditures in order to keep cost contained.
• Communicate with corporate office and officers.
• Make sure all corporate policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred
• Minimum five (5) years in-house or industry experience Preferred

This is a direct-hire, long term career opportunity, the starting base pay range is $140K-$160K plus benefits and incentives. Relocation assistance will be available.
