The Plant General Manager will lead the company U.S. plant , with full responsibility for operational performance and profitability . This role carries complete P&L accountability and is focused on delivering operational excellence, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth . The position is critical to stabilizing operations, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, and driving measurable results in the North American market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all plant operations with a strong focus on production efficiency, quality, and cost control . Ensure the achievement of financial targets, including the revenue goals, and deliver consistent profitability.

P&L Ownership

  • Manage the full profit and loss of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization . Implement rigorous financial controls to close current gaps and improve margins.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes: scrap reduction, lean practices, on-time delivery, and safety compliance . Standardize processes to enhance scalability and integration with corporate systems.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute the plant’s strategic roadmap aligned with Group objectives. Ensure timely launch of new products and support long-term growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers. Ensure proactive engagement and operational responsiveness to customer needs.

Talent Development

  • Build and strengthen the plant leadership team. Address current performance gaps and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Supply Chain & Procurement

  • Oversee supplier development and localization initiatives in partnership with Corporate Purchasing. Implement cost-saving strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

  • Guarantee adherence to all regulatory and safety standards, promoting a zero-incident culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in plant management with full P&L responsibility .
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage complex operational structures.
  • Hands‑on leadership.
  • Experience in North American market and international matrix organizations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
