Plant Controls & Instrumentation EngineerYour roles and responsibilities will include:Support production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems.Execute minor control loop and instrumentation upgrades.Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of capital projects related to process controls.Configure and maintain the plant's Distributed Control System (DCS), manage alarms, and update operator graphics.Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Manage calibration requirements for critical quality instrumentation and maintain associated documentation.Conduct training and qualification testing for new and existing instrument technicians.Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS and cybersecurity standards.Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Plant Controls & Instrumentation Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Plant Controls & Instrumentation Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems.Proficient in process instrumentation, control systems, and DCS platforms.Strong safety awareness, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.Compensation: Based on Experience.
