Overview
Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Plant Controller for a long-time global manufacturing client in Watertown, CN.
Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 7 - 10+ years of manufacturing industry experience
- Previous Plant Controller experience highly preferred
- Strong cost and inventory experience
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly reports for the site
- Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions
- Prepare financial budgets and forecasts
- Develop, create, and strengthen internal controls
- Identify areas for cost cutting and improvement
- Drive initiatives to improve operation performance
- Continuous training and staff development
- Collaborate with Plant Manager and management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and lead the development of complex analysis
