We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Plant Controller to join our thriving team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions within the plant, including cost accounting, financial planning, and leadership. You will play a crucial role in creating and implementing financial strategies for the plant, ensuring financial integrity and transparency, and driving business growth. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all financial operations within the plant, including cost accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
  3. Ensure financial integrity and transparency by maintaining accurate financial records and complying with all financial regulations and standards.
  4. Lead and manage the plant's finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and strong financial discipline.
  5. Collaborate with plant management to align financial strategies with business objectives, and provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
  6. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial indicators, trends, and performance against budget.
  7. Drive efficiency and cost reduction initiatives through the use of financial analysis and benchmarking.
  8. Manage the plant's capital investment program, ensuring all investments deliver expected returns and align with the plant's strategic objectives.
  9. Ensure the plant's financial systems and processes are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven experience in cost accounting, financial planning, and leadership.
  4. Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and cost accounting methodologies.
  5. Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage a team.
  6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful analysis.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  9. High level of integrity, with a commitment to financial transparency and compliance.
  10. Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a strong understanding of how they support financial operations in a manufacturing environment.
