In this role, you'll oversee all financial activities for the assigned plant within Victaulic's multi-site operating environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective cost management. You'll partner with plant operations, other site controllers, and corporate finance resources to support decision-making, drive operational efficiency, and ensure consistency across locations. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted financial business partner to plant leadership while contributing to cross-site standardization and best practices.WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWNPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the assigned plant within a multi-site structureLead the monthly close process for the plant, coordinating timelines and requirements with corporate financeEnsure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and standardized reporting practices across sitesProvide financial explanations for plant performance versus budget, forecast, prior periods, and peer-site benchmarksMaintain and analyze standard costs and job costing, including material, labor, and overhead, in alignment with company-wide costing methodologiesAnalyze manufacturing variances (PPV, usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption) and compare performance across sitesSupport inventory valuation, reserves, cycle counts, and physical inventories, ensuring consistency with multi-site inventory policies and controlsMonitor and analyze scrap, rework, and yield metrics, including cross-site comparisonsSupport capital project analysis, capitalization, and depreciation in coordination with corporateLead the annual budget and periodic forecast updates for the assigned plant within the broader multi-site planning processPartner with plant leadership and corporate finance resources to develop aligned production, cost, and capital assumptionsTrack performance against budget and forecast, identifying site-specific risks and opportunitiesEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policies across the plant, and coordinate with corporate and other plant controllers to support internal and external auditsMaintain strong segregation of duties and standardized controls over inventory, fixed assets, and expendituresAct as a financial business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leadership, collaborating with other site controllers and corporate finance to drive consistency, transparency, and best practices across locationsProvide financial insights to support pricing, sourcing, make/buy decisions, and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in cross-site finance initiatives, process standardization, and system improvementsWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including manufacturing or cost accountingStrong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing financial processesSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworksExperience with ERP systems used in multi-site environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)Advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into operational insights across multiple locationsExcellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed organizationDetail-oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a multi-site close environmentWillingness to maintain on-site presence at the assigned manufacturing facility, work periodic overtime during month-end, year-end close, forecasting, and budget cycles, and travel occasionally to corporate offices or other plant locations as requiredWHAT SETS YOU APARTCPA or CMA designationPrior experience in a multi-site manufacturing or matrixed organizationExperience with BI or enterprise reporting toolsWHAT WE OFFERBuild A Better CareerCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from withinTuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunitiesBuild A Better FutureComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plans with company matchLife insurance and disability coverageBuild A Better YouPaid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicableEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resourcesInclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one anotherBuild A Better WorldJoin a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIPVictaulic does not provide immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, or other work visa sponsorship) for this position.
