Harmer Associates has partnered with a thriving manufacturing company seeking to hire for position of Plant Controller .
- Location: Morristown, Tennessee (open to relocation)
- Work Model: Onsite
Role responsible for integrity of plant financials, financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost and performance analysis, management of inventory accounting, and proper accounting in accordance with IFRS, SOX compliance, and company policy.
Individual must be comfortable getting out from behind a desk and leading, with emphasis on collaboration and active participation with the Plant Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA or CMA preferred
- ~10 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting within manufacturing, with minimum 5 years as Controller/Manager
- Knowledge of standard costing practice and inventory management
- Strong Excel and experience in ERP systems (Oracle strongly preferred)
