Plant Controller/Site Director
Budgeting, forecasting, strategy finance, P&L, cash flow modeling
Strong GL month end close Prepare financial statements, cash flow
Cost Accounting, Inventory, manufacturing variances, manage staff
All financial activities within the plant.
Conduct month and year end closing, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and balanced
Ensure proper financial controls are in place and maintained according to GAAP.
Partner with Plant Manager, providing sound business analytics and understanding of financials, with associated recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Works closely with operations to ensure accurate and timely recording of all production costs and effective analysis of production variances.
Develops the Plant Budget and provides thorough analysis of variances
Collaborate with site teams to explain results, collaborate on improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead development of complex analysis.
Support the development of business justifications, including ROIs
Control and reporting of fixed assets.
Manages book and tax depreciation for fixed assets
Responsible for Inventory controls, obsolete inventory, slow moving and proper valuation of each.
Control and maintenance of standard costs
Support all financial related audits
Preparation of production plans and product costing.
Estimate product costs to support quoting activities
Manager accounting functions with respect to general ledger accounting, financial statements and account analysis
Analyzes schedules, and financial statement highlights.
Ensures account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments are calculated and journal entries are prepared
Reviews and prepares month/year end reports, accrual schedules and ad-hoc reports and analysis
Assist with external and internal audits work with outside CPA firm
Maintains Accounting files and inventory and costing strong ERP Systems, QuickBooks, ORACLE/SAP
