We're partnering with a manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Plant Controller to support plant financial performance and partner closely with operations leadership. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, forecasting, inventory costing, and driving business decisions through analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities for Plant Controller
- Lead plant costing activities, including inventory costing, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Partner with operations leadership to improve productivity, profitability, and overall financial performance.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, including sales, expenses, inventory, cash flow, and capital planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support audit, tax, and internal control requirements.
- Analyze business trends and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications for Plant Controller
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or plant-controlling experience.
- Strong background in manufacturing, costing, inventory analysis, and financial forecasting.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence operational decisions
