This role leads planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and GAAP standards. By translating financial data into clear business insights, the Plant Controller drives operational performance, strengthens cost control, and improves site results. This position partners closely with plant leadership and offers visibility to senior management, creating meaningful opportunity for impact and growth.What You'll DoFinancial Reporting & CloseLead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close in accordance with GAAPMaintain full income statement and balance sheet responsibility for the facilityEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial records and internal controlsBusiness Partnership & AnalysisProvide daily and weekly financial reporting on production and spending metrics to the Plant Manager and leadership teamDeliver operational financial analysis to corporate and plant stakeholdersDevelop actionable recommendations to improve profitability and performancePrepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requestedCost & Inventory ManagementManage inventory controls, including cycle counts, obsolescence monitoring, and inventory turns analysisAnalyze production standards and investigate variances (labor, material, overhead)Support operational teams in identifying cost reduction opportunitiesPlanning & ForecastingLead the annual budget and monthly forecast processCompare actual performance against budget, prior year, and forecastsIdentify risks and opportunities and communicate proactive solutionsAssets & ComplianceTrack and safeguard fixed assetsSupport audits and prepare reports for regulatory and corporate requirementsEnsure compliance with company policies and financial proceduresWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance preferred3 or more years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environmentCPA preferredExperience in CPG operational accounting strongly preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and financial presentation skillsAbility to influence and collaborate with operations leadershipProficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience required - Oracle JDE preferredSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhat You Will GetKIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
