Plant Controller

Plant Controller Opening—Atlanta, GA--Up to $125K + Bonus + Profit Sharing

One of firm’s very best clients, a diversified global manufacturer, needs to hire a Plant Controller for one of their successful manufacturing facilities. There is a strong preference that this position be based in the Tallahassee area, but our client is open to very strong candidates in the Atlanta area (although there would be periodic travel to the plant in Tallahassee).

Here’s is what we are looking for:

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• MBA or CPA preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or mining environments
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and motivate teams effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with ISO and QMS procedures
• Prior experience in a family-owned or private company setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
• MBA or CPA highly desirable
• 5-8 years of progressive financial management experience in manufacturing

Compensation:

• Base Salary: Up to $125,000
• Annual 15% Performance Bonus
• Annual Profit Sharing (Up to 21%)
• Annual 5% 401-K Bonus (Employer Matching is 100% up to 6%)
