We are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facility. This position partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance, ensure accurate reporting, and support operational decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all plant financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, inventory, and production variances.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports.
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation and oversee cycle count processes.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Support annual budgets, capital expenditure planning, and financial audits.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to plant leadership to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in an Industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, inventory control, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
