A leading publicly traded semiconductor and technology company is seeking a Plant Controller to support the financial operations of a high-growth manufacturing business unit. This role will partner closely with plant and business leadership and oversee plant-level financial reporting, cost accounting, planning, and operational analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, plant financial reporting, and P&L analysis .
- Lead cost accounting and standard costing from raw materials through finished goods.
- Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis .
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and business unit financial planning .
- Partner with Operations and leadership on financial performance, KPIs, and business decisions.
- Provide financial analysis and explain results to non-financial stakeholders .
- Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and external audits .
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation .
- Support capital expenditure reporting and other financial projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Plant/manufacturing accounting and cost accounting experience .
- Experience with standard costing, inventory, P&L reporting, and variance analysis .
- Public company experience with SOX and audit support .
- Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Strong SAP experience required.
- Semiconductor, electronics, or high-mix manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with Operations and senior leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
