Plant Accountant / Cost Accountant
Silgan Containers is seeking a Plant Accountant / Cost Accountant to support the financial performance of our Plover manufacturing facility. This role offers hands-on experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close while partnering directly with plant leadership.

What You'll Do
- Manage month-end close and financial reporting
- Support cost accounting and inventory control activities
- Analyze manufacturing costs and inventory variances
- Maintain standard costs and Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
- Partner with operations leaders to improve plant performance
- Participate in plant operations meetings and walkthroughs
