Planning Supervisor - Lincoln, NHJob Overview The Planning Supervisor is responsible for leading all production planning activities within an SAP-driven manufacturing environment. This role owns the integrity, optimization, and execution of planning processes across SAP (PP/MM) systems, ensuring seamless alignment between demand, supply, capacity, and inventory. The Planning Supervisor drives S&OP integration, data accuracy, and system governance while leading a high-performing team and enabling operational and strategic business objectives.A Day In The Life Key Responsibilities:SAP Planning Leadership & Governance Own and govern all planning-related activities within SAP (PP/MM modules), ensuring standardization and best-practice utilization.Integrated Production Planning (SAP-Driven) and S&OP / IBP Integration Lead execution of MPS (Master Production Scheduling) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) within SAP.Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials. Coordinate with manufacturing to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.Systems & Reporting Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning data and generate reports.
Analyze production metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.Process and Continuous Improvement & Optimization Identify and implement process enhancements to improve planning efficiency and accuracy.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) SAP MRP stability and exception management effectiveness On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery Forecast accuracy (via SAP consumption) Inventory turns and days of supply Master data accuracy rate Schedule adherence and capacity utilizationWhat will help you thrive in this role?
